“Adishtana Pooja” to invoke blessings for Mother
Sri Lanka.
An “Adishtana Pooja” was organized by the Sri Lanka Navy at Dambakolapatuna Sangamiththa temple on 7th March 2012 to invoke blessings to the country with the objective of defeating the external and internal forces that meddling with the development, create mistrust among communities and disturbing the prevailing peace and normalcy in the country.
Commander Northern Naval Area Rear Admiral RC Wijegunaratne, Officers and approx 300 naval personnel in the area attended this religious event.
